Abu Bakr Heyn
Abu Bakr Ulrich Heyn was born in Frankfurt in 1970. He studied history and Islamic studies in Freiburg.
Abu Bakr learned the Arabic language in Damascus and then worked as a tourist guide in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon. Upon returning to Freiburg, he dedicated himself to translating Arabic texts and began to try his hand at writing. In 2007, he won a creativity contest entitled “Show Me the Prophet” with a literary piece.
